Job Description


RMW Industries Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of coil springs for a wide range of industrial and consumer markets, including the agricultural, railway, construction, mining, forestry, food processing, automotive and marine industries. The company has a family-type environment and many years of success in the spring industry. We are currently looking to recruit a bookkeeper to join our team.




Perform bookkeeping functions in a computerized system

Perform reconciliation of various bank and GL accounts

Support month-end and year-end closing process

Assist in preparing year-end working papers for head office

Perform accounts payable and receivable functions

Prepare bank deposits

Work with other employees on reconciliations as required

Maintain general ledgers and financial statements

Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts

Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports

Post journal entries

Preparation of government filings (GST, PST, WCB, and EHT)

Other duties not related to bookkeeping could be required from time to time



Excellent knowledge of Sage 50 cloud-based software

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position

Knowledge of word, excel, smart sheets, google docs

Ability to work independently

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal)

Professional demeanor

Self-motivated, positive attitude

Impeccable accuracy with numbers and high level of attention to detail

Solid work ethic with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure




Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
