Now that Dorman Products and Dayton Parts have joined forces to accelerate growth in the heavy duty automotive aftermarket, we’re adding an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to our amazing team to support that growth and make us a heavy duty powerhouse. As a Warehouse Supervisor in our Shiremanstown location, you will be responsible for supervising our organization’s warehouse operations team with guidance from our Director, Warehouse Operations. Shift: currently Monday through Friday 5pm - 1am; will move to 7pm - 3am in the coming months; will require three to four weeks of training on day shifts 9 am to 5 pm

Seeking someone who is willing to cover other shifts due to vacations, likely not more than 3x/year: Sun-Mon-Tues 7a -7p / Wed-Thurs-Fri 7a-7p



  • Supervising a warehouse team in daily workflow and logistics processes.
  • Meeting daily demands of warehouse operations from the receipt of products, storage, and distribution to customers.
  • Having a “Can Do” attitude and working within team environments as a team player.
  • Training contributors with safety policies and job duties, as well as cross-training contributors for better operational flexibility.
  • Inspecting works in progress and finished products.
  • Using the “Help Chain” when problems with materials, tooling or equipment occur.
  • Attending company and departmental meetings as scheduled.
  • Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety/OSHA regulations.
  • Completing supervisory reports for work related accidents.
  • Analyzing and resolving work/employee problems.
  • Recommending and presenting personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
  • Completing daily paperwork as assigned.
  • Following all standards to ensure safety, quality, and delivery of products.
  • Using continuous philosophy to improve current standards.
  • Preparing annual employee performance reviews.



  • Minimum High School Diploma; Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ warehouse/logistics experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Efficient in software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word.
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems.
  • Familiarity with automotive components, preferably undercarriage components desired.
  • A keen eye for detail and safety.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to devise an analytical approach to solving business problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
