We’re hiring a Truck Driver at our corporate warehouse facility located in Shiremanstown, PA.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm (Home Daily)

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive vehicle to transport materials to and from specified destinations, primarily between our Shiremanstown Warehouse and Harrisburg Manufacturing Plant.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, in accordance with regulations.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios. ·
• Drive company vehicle in a safe manner
• Verifying correct part numbers
• Verifying and counting of product/pieces
• Any other work assignments

Physical Responsibilities:

• Climb in and out of vehicles numerous times throughout the shift
• Alternate between walking and sitting
• Constant climbing, stopping, twisting and turning while performing Groundman duties

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid CDL class A Driver's License
• Prefers warehouse/distribution experience
• Prefers forklift experience
