Provide design, build, and/or configure services that make the businesses and customers of Dorman Products more successful through operational data analytics. Works within standard data visualization and analytics models to provide results in the area of operational KPIs. Results-oriented mentality who delivers quality and timely deliverables that ultimately increase the productivity of Dorman site leaders.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Creates best practices and processes for operational data analytics
- Develops, supports, and implements complex applications and systems
- Develops technical road mapping
- Partners with IT on application architecture decisions and participates in the application design process
- Leads and mentors other team members
- Serves as a technical lead or lead developer on projects
- Sets up / facilitates processes for reuse
- Supports corporate initiatives and decisions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated application development and implementation experience
- Awareness of how Analytics enables business processes and related interdependencies
- Detailed knowledge of operating environment
- Highly skilled in one or more technical areas
- Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds. • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Information Systems, Computer Science or a closely related discipline preferred
- 2+ years’ of related experience
