Job Summary
In this position you will be ensuring the accurate receipt and coordination of all inbound & outbound goods at the warehouse, shipping and receiving accuracy, while utilizing our warehouse machinery and technology in performance of those duties. Collaborating and communicating with Customer Service to maintain a strict shipping schedule. As a leader, you will assist the branch manager in training and keeping contributors delivering quality results
Primary Duties
- Loading/Unloading, Shipping, Receiving and QC checks.
- Packing, Wrapping, Strapping, Sealing.
- Returns Processing.
- Performing light janitorial duties.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by following policies and procedures.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by organizing, cleaning and coordinating with branch manager on implementing new design layouts when required.
- Oversee the daily inspections of the warehouse equipment reports.
- Follows and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency.
- Close & lock-up the warehouse at the end of their shift.
- Call & Online dispatch of daily couriers
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirement: Physically fit and able to occasionally lift weights of up to 100lbs.
- Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
- Required High School Diploma or GED.
- First Aid Certification (Can train)
- Moderate OT Expectations.
- 5+ years of experience with forklifts/stock pickers/reach truck/dock stacker preferred.
- Heavy duty truck industry experience preferred.
- Experience with Equipment charging and watering systems, RF scanners and shrink wrap machine required.
