Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team as an integral part of our warehouse operations. This full-time role focuses on efficiently and safely managing material handling and order processing to support our supply chain and logistics functions.

Primary Duties

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner to move materials within the facility.
• Receive, process, and accurately prepare orders by picking, packing, and loading goods for shipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
• Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Assist in organizing the warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to following safety guidelines are essential in this role to maintain high standards of warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is required.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and material handling best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the capability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety with no history of safety violations.

Education / Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a forklift operator or in order processing within a warehouse environment is highly advantageous.
