SMT Line Operator

Job Summary

The Machine Operator is primarily responsible for running surface mount machines in the New Build Department.

Primary Duties

• Learn & follow detailed work instructions  
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities listed below  
• Load, Operate and monitor surface mount machines  
• Perform basic trouble shooting of machines  
• Complete documentation as needed  
• Count finished goods and supplies as needed  
• Participate in various improvement activities  

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkers  

• Ability to work as a team member  

• Must be safety conscious  

• Ability to stand all day, stoop & bend and lift up to 40 lbs.  

• Attention to detail and good with numbers  

• Commitment to meeting production demands and quality requirements  

• Understand Customer requirements as they relate to their job function  

• Ability to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformances  

• Ability to get to work on time with minimal absences

Education / Experience

• Previous machine operator experience desired
