Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for handling administrative and other tasks related to all areas of human resources including employee records, training, onboarding, benefits, leaves of absence administration and providing customer service to our contributors on HR topics. 


Primary Duties:

  • Promote company culture by providing excellent customer service to contributors by answering questions on topics such as benefits, HR policies, and other HR topics
  • Participate in development and execution of HR objectives and goals
  • Coordinate and conduct comprehensive onboarding program for new employees
  • Manage leaves of absence programs
  • Serve as HR representative to safety team and handle workers comp claim entry and OSHA 300 log input
  • Train and assist managers and supervisors with administering HR records, policies and programs
  • Participate in recruitment activities such as scheduling and interviewing candidates and job fairs
  • Prepare and update all employee records in HR systems including new hire documents
  • Assist with and coordinate contributor events and rewards programs
  • Review benefit program with newly eligible contributors and assist with open enrollment activities
  • Assist with payroll changes and serve as backup to processing payroll and assisting contributors with payroll related issues and questions
  • Coordinate and conduct HR and IATF training programs and maintain records
  • Prepare and distribute company communication documents
  • Serve as backup to the Operations Admin on timecard & paid leave administration and daily absent report
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities



  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to coordinate and conduct HR related training programs
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough and able to monitor work for quality
  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast passed environment with frequent interruptions
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
  • Basic knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing employment practices
  • Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; bend; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to reach, push, pull and lift with hands and arms. 



  • Advanced education in Human Resources or related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in HR field, preferably in a manufacturing setting
