Electrician/Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a first shift (Mon-Fri) Electrician/Maintenance Technician to join our team.  The Electrician/Maintenance Technician role performs a wide variety of electrical repairs, installations of equipment, and power troubleshooting.  The position would also include some general maintenance repairs to the building, facilities, and equipment (more details below).

We are centrally located in Lewisberry off exit 36 on I-83, only 10 minutes from Harrisburg and 15 minutes from York.

 

 

Primary Duties

  • Perform a wide variety of electrical repairs and services with voltages up to 480v
  • Performs electrical installation and repair work wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, and power circuits; repair lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
  • General equipment and mechanical maintenance when needed
  • Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines
  • Ensure mechanical and physical safeguards are used when performing equipment repair

 

Qualifications/Expeience:

  • Have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
  • Certified Electrician
  • Lock out/Tag out training
  • Knowledge of Code and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member
  • Ability to maintain a professional courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
  • Working knowledge of techniques, materials, tools, and equipment used for completion of the described job duties
  • Previous experience as an electrician or electrical contractor
  • Forklift license or ability to obtain license required
  • Three or more years’ experience in an electrical contracting or industrial setting
