Quality Inspector

Job Summary

As a Quality Inspector at our company, you will be responsible for processing all incoming customer returns, vendor returns, and conducting general product inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications.

Primary Duties

• Your primary duties will include:
• Inspecting all incoming customer returns to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Documenting and recording findings of inspections
• Preparing returned products to be restocked
• Preparing, documenting, and physically shipping/returning products that do not meet compliance standards
• Utilizing tools such as calipers, thread gauges, and straight edges to take accurate measurements of products

• Excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Strong self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to handle tasks such as pulling, pushing, twisting, bending, and lifting products

Education / Experience

• The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• A one-year certificate from a college or technical school; or 3-6 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
