Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, contributing to innovative manufacturing processes within an internship role. This position offers hands-on experience in engineering practices, bridging academic knowledge with practical industrial applications.

Primary Duties

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing tools, equipment, and workflow layouts tailored to specific production requirements.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing manufacturing data to troubleshoot process issues and recommend solutions to enhance product reliability and consistency.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align engineering initiatives with production goals and quality standards.
  • Document process changes and update manufacturing instructions to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development activities to build manufacturing engineering expertise and professional skills.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field demonstrating strong foundational knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Proficiency with standard engineering software such as CAD tools and data analysis applications is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A proactive attitude with an eagerness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Education / Experience

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in an engineering discipline with relevant coursework in manufacturing or industrial systems. Prior internship or project experience related to manufacturing processes is a plus but not mandatory.
