Job Summary
A Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for monitoring and verifying WIP during production, finished goods before shipping to OEM customers, calibration system, Non-Conforming Materials, Audits and assist Quality Manager as delegated.
Primary Duties
- Manage and Coordinate all OEM Dock Audits with Materials Manager and Shipping Team Leader.
- Manage and Coordinate all Calibration Activity through “IndySoft” program with necessary personnel, tool boards and machinery as required.
- Assist in managing Non-Conforming Materials (both WIP and finished goods) as defined in Non-Conforming Procedure.
- Verify calibration of gauge program including Brinell indenters, scopes, cameras and Almen strip test on all peening machines
- Conduct and organize necessary Gage R&R Studies.
- Participate in Internal Audit Process as needed.

Education / Experience
- Familiar with or coachable on the use of Applications such as (but not limited to) MacPac, Excel, Word, QT9, IndySoft, SAP
- Strong Mathematics and Analytical Skills.
- Working knowledge of Internal Product Specifications with Ability to Verify Finished Goods and cross-reference specification with customer drawings/prints.
- Working knowledge of all measuring devices and their application to WIP and finished product under roof at Eagle Suspensions.
