The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will perform administrative duties to support the Talent Acquisition team in all phases of the recruitment cycle. This position will be held accountable to ensure consistent and timely completion of centralized services for our candidate experience by scheduling interviews, greeting candidates, and creating offers of employment.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Ensures an excellent candidate experience throughout the interview process
  • Work closely with the talent acquisition team to assist with scheduling phone, onsite and virtual interviews
  • Track candidates throughout the hiring process in our applicant tracking system
  • Create and modify requisitions and positions as needed.
  • Be the point person for candidates and team members for all phone, virtual and onsite interviews
  • Manage the pre-employment process by generating background checks, monitoring drug screens, and acting as a liaison between candidates, recruiters and hiring managers. Ensure all pre-employment requirements are performed in accordance with company policy.
  • Propose and implement ongoing innovations and improvements to the recruitment process
  • Participate in recruiting events representing Dorman Products
  • Manage job boards and post open requisitions on the Dorman site and others
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with recruitment and hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
  • Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting
  • Experience with SuccessFactors and MS Office
  • Open to a challenge in a genuinely fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Degree/GED with 0-1+ year of related coordinator or administrative level work experience.
  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and MS Office programs.
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and create improved efficiency.
  • Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow-through to completion.
