Dorman Products, a $1B global supplier of aftermarket automotive parts, is seeking a Supply Chain Program Planner to join our team in Colmar, PA! If you have a passion for analytics and cross-functional collaboration, this is the role for you! The Supply Chain Program Planner is a critical member of our Supply Chain team! In this role the ideal candidate will drive supply chain performance improvements from Dorman through to our customer’s customer.
Job Summary
Drive strategic planning for any increased/unplanned, incremental demand from our customers. Collaborate cross functionally to analyze and ensure incoming supply to achieve successful order fulfilment.
In this role you are responsible for, but not limited to:

Develop and deploy end-to-end supply chain strategies to optimize pipeline inventory investments and achieve customer serviceability requirements for unplanned/incremental demand

Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Experience, Demand Planning, Operations, Supply Chain to develop program order rollout strategies, delivery dates, and projected fill rates

Identify supply problems relating to applicable/appropriate material numbers and determine the potential impact on fill rate/on-time delivery for customer program orders. Troubleshoot Supply Chain problems and work to solve issues cross-functionally in support of customer needs

Analyze and track program performance, including timeliness of execution, fill rate, and sales order balancing. Work closely with Supply Chain to help determine the appropriate inventory levels required for un-forecasted customer demand

Monitor support plans for New Business Proposals (NBPs) and collaborate cross functionally to ensure demand plans properly account for NBP volumes and implementation schedules

Manage customer program supply for on time delivery to our customer with 95% fill rates

Communicate expected program fill rate performance and delivery timing expectations to customers through the Dorman CPFR process (collaborative planning, forecasting, replenishment)
Qualifications

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large amounts of data is required

Proven analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Proven experience with ERP/MRP – SAP preferred

Proficient computer skills – particularly Microsoft Office applications

Strong written and oral communications skills - including executive presentation skills

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated competency with cross-functional engagement and collaboration

Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
Education and/or experience:

Minimum 1-year experience in Supply Chain Planning and/or Customer Supply Chain/Customer facing roles

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with concentration in one or more of the following: Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Business
