Job Summary
The Dorman Supply Chain Team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain operations, providing exposure to real-world business processes and supplier interactions.

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid internship based at our corporate office in Colmar, PA (suburban Philadelphia). Interns will work on-site 3–4 days per week, with the option to work remotely 1–2 days per week.
Primary Duties
- Support the procurement process by assisting with the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services
- Maintain and update procurement systems, records, and documentation
- Help prepare and analyze procurement reports, metrics, and data insights
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving procurement processes
- Assist in managing supplier relationships and help resolve any issues that may arise
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Completion of coursework in Business, Finance, or Accounting (preferred)
- Genuine interest in Supply Chain Management
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Willingness to take direction from project leads and proactively seek clarification when needed
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed
Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items between buildings, and engage in active listening and communication
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
Education / Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree from an accredited college or university
- Major in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data & Analytics, or a related field
- Completion of at least two years of college coursework prior to the internship is preferred
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Prior internship experience, relevant work history, or involvement in professional clubs/organizations is a plu

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $22.00 to $24.00. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
