Project Manager

Job Summary: 

Continuously, manage and prioritize SKU workflow from inception to completion in new product portal (new product, PPV and quality) with focus on speed to market/commercialization. Coordinate phases of projects, monitor SKU specific timelines and key programs through planning and execution.  This is a critical role to facilitate SBU growth and profitability.


Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Manages new product portal
    • Reviews, reports and makes recommendations to development timelines of new products and critical initiatives in the portal
    • Uses influence and identifies resource opportunities to ensure new products are moving through portal on  time
    • Evaluates opportunities to  accelerate throughput and identifies impediments which are impacting progress
    • Provides insights on project prioritization and recommends assessment of priorities as needed
  • Project Management
    • Leads the reporting and identification of projects/programs timelines
    • Consistently meet project/program deadlines set by the team
    • Identify opportunities to streamline/accelerate projects without increased exposure to risk
    • Manage multiple projects concurrently
    • Lead weekly project meetings with cross-functional teams
  • Data Reporting and Analysis
    • Create and analyze reports in SAP, Qlik, BO and other systems as needed
  • Ad Hoc Tasks
    • Annual pricing reviews, SKU rationalization and sharing cross SBU “best practices”
    • Budget process
    • Other duties as assigned



  • Ability to collaborate with all business functions and levels within the enterprise and move projects through the organization with minimal direction
  • Highly motivated and outcome driven; needs to be seen as a critical leader on the team
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of database software, internet software, project management software (Smartsheets preferred), and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen.  Noise level is usually moderate



  • B.S. degree in Business preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PMP certification preferred, not required
  • 2 or more years’ experience in Product Management, Marketing, Data Analysis, or Strategic Sourcing preferred
