Job Summary
The IT intern for Network & Infrastructure will support the Dorman Technical Services team in maintain the core Dorman network and critical systems. This will include systems hosted on-premises and cloud-based platforms in AWS and Azure. Network services activities will range from local network configuration to SDWAN setup to quality-of-service monitoring. Core infrastructure activities will include providing of services in AWS or Azure along with supporting routine patching and general system upgrades across the server landscape.
This is a hybrid role in our corporate location in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA), work from home 3 days a week.
Primary Duties
- Install routine patches and system configuration updates as directed
- Configuration of agents for log collection, performance monitoring and asset identification
- Collect data points for core KPIs used to monitor system heath
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
- Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
- Education: Actively studying computer science or information systems
- Experience: Network setup, service setup, cloud services
