Job Summary
The Assistant Program Manager conducts all research and data analysis to support the Program Manager. Synthesize large amounts of information and communicate appropriately to cross-functional teams for decision making purposes. Must show ability to think strategically, 6-12 months out, and adjust/plan accordingly to drive results and successful projects to completion. This is a hybrid role that will require onsite presence at our headquarters, located in Colmar, PA, at least 4 days a week.
Primary Duties
- Research Program Adds that support OE Market Strategy / Roadmap
- Assists in the planning, development, and execution of programs, supporting the Sr Program Manager or Director by managing budgets, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring objectives are met
- Data Analysis / Maintenance
- Assist with executing customer programs by working with internal and external cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
- Add new projects to the new product development portal and keep corresponding data updated throughout development cycle
- Populate ROIs based on validated, verified researched data
- Reserve and assign new part numbers
- Run ad hoc data queries and reports supporting SBU performance
- Market Research
- Conduct periodic OE customer visits
- Complete logistics part template, information pertaining to part setup PDS / MDO requests
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) for make items
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Aftermarket / Automotive experience is a plus
- Effectively work in a team environment supporting others through coverage, problem solving, and day to day interaction.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite and specifically Excel including pivot tables and v-lookups
- Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 50 pounds. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
- B.S. degree in Business preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 or more years’ experience in Product Management, Marketing, Data Analysis, or Strategic sourcing preferred
