Job Summary

Join our dynamic logistics team as a Warehouse Package Receiving Associate, where you will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of incoming shipments. This full-time position is critical to maintaining the flow of goods within our distribution center and supporting overall warehouse operations. This role will be Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Primary Duties

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming packages and goods against purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Organize and sort received items in designated warehouse locations following established procedures to optimize space and facilitate easy retrieval.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and scanning devices safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of received shipments and report discrepancies or damages promptly to supervisors for resolution.
  • Collaborate with inventory control and shipping teams to coordinate the movement of goods and maintain up-to-date stock levels.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, contributing to a secure working environment for all team members.
  • Participate in periodic cycle counts and assist in inventory audits to support accuracy and accountability.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the receiving area to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in warehouse receiving or related logistics roles is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Ability to accurately inspect and handle packages, recognizing possible damages or discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills to process receiving documentation.
  • Comfortable operating standard warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, with relevant certifications considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage incoming inventory efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Committed to following safety guidelines and promoting a safe workplace culture.

Education / Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is highly desirable. On-the-job training and equipment certifications may be provided to support career development and ensure proficiency in warehouse procedures.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $0.00 to $0.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
