Test Engineer

Job Summary

At SuperATV we are working to WOW our customers with innovative, race-tested products and world class customer service. Currently, we have an opportunity for a highly skilled and detail oriented Test Engineer to add to our team. This critical role will help continue SuperATV’s growth and impact in the off-roading industry. 

Primary Duties

• Develop test plans with detailed procedures to validate product strength and safety against industry standards and specifications that represent conditions seen in the field
• Design fixturing for testing in a lab-based setting
• Draft technical reports to present findings and make recommendations from collected data
• Work to develop new testing methods to increase testing accuracy and repeatability while continuing to validate current testing by collecting real world data
• Analyze the correlation between lab data and Finite Element Analysis to improve new product development efficiency
• Work with development teams to resolve issues and improve the quality of the product
• Be a field service problem solver to quickly find solutions as problems arise on new or existing products
• Communicate professionally, maintain action register, and drive project to a timely completion

Qualifications

Qualified candidates have familiarity with metal fabrication and machining.  Qualified candidates can read blueprints, create components in CAD and understand proper testing techniques and procedures. Must be familiar with instrumentation and data collection and analysis.

Education / Experience

Candidates need basic computer skills, using word and excel and be proficient with SolidWorks CAD Software for 3D modeling. A degree in a related field is preferred.
