Job Summary

The eBay Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Scratch and Dent eBay storefront. This role manages product intake, listing creation, customer communication, order fulfillment, and warehouse organization related specifically to scratch and dent inventory. The position plays a critical role in converting returned, open-box, and cosmetic-damage inventory into recovered revenue while maintaining a positive customer experience.

This is a hands-on, part-time role that requires both computer-based work and physical handling of product in the warehouse.

Primary Duties

eBay Store Operations

  1. Create accurate and complete eBay listings for scratch and dent products, including titles, descriptions, condition notes, photos, and pricing
  2. Clearly document cosmetic or functional imperfections in listings to set proper customer expectations
  3. Maintain listing accuracy and update availability as inventory changes

Customer Communication

  1. Monitor and respond to customer questions and messages in a timely and professional manner
  2. Address pre-sale inquiries related to condition, fitment, and shipping
  3. Escalate issues or disputes when necessary

Order Fulfillment and Shipping

  1. Generate shipping labels
  2. Ship sold items
  3. Ensure orders are shipped within required handling timeframes
  4. Coordinate with warehouse staff as needed

Inventory Organization and Categorization

  1. Maintain organized storage locations for scratch and dent products to support efficient picking and listing
  2. Track available inventory

Qualifications

  1. Prior experience in eBay
  2. Familiarity with shipping carriers and label generation
  3. Knowledge of powersports parts is a plus
  4. Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs
  5. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $0.00 to $0.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
