Job Summary
We currently have a new opportunity to add a Laser Operator to the team. This role will help continue SuperATV’s growth and impact in the off-roading industry.
Primary Duties
- Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production processes or assist other machine operators.
- Ability to operate and navigate in a windows-based computer environment.
- Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
- Knowledge about shield gases used during laser cutting operation.
- Assist in routine laser maintenance and repair on machine.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Work with all departments to schedule work.
- Produce parts to print specifications using allotted standard times and processes.
Qualifications
Technical skills: Blueprint reading skills and CNC operation experience are required
Lifting: Must be able to lift up-to 70lbs.
Education / Experience
Skills and abilities consistent with a high school diploma or GED
