Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler Class II to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials within our facility, supporting operational excellence and timely production processes.

Primary Duties

  • Receive, unload, and accurately verify incoming shipments to ensure quality and quantity compliance.
  • Organize and store materials in designated areas, maintaining clear and safe pathways to facilitate smooth workflow.
  • Prepare and stage materials for manufacturing or shipping according to daily schedules and production requirements.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment to support continuous manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to meet deadlines and resolve material-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, promptly reporting any hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to and promote all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in material handling or warehouse operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks, with valid certification preferred.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.
  • Physical stamina to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team-oriented and fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety standards and practices.

Education / Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in material handling or related warehouse functions. Certification in forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory, as training may be provided.

The US base rate for this full-time position is . The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
