Parts Changer - Weekend Shift

Job Summary

Parts Changers are responsible for removing glue, removing and replacing components using soldering, and inspection of boards. 

Schedule: Friday to Sunday 6am to 6PM (will train on 1st shift)

Primary Duties

• Learn & follow detailed work instructions  
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities listed below  
• Place boards in oven and complete forms – remove boards from oven per work instruction  
• Remove glue using a plastic digging tool  
• De-solder the leads of the capacitors  
• Remove the capacitor and glue not needed  
• Change all parts on parts change list by de-soldering off old parts and soldering new  
• Clean all leftover flux using alcohol or soft brush  
• Reassemble capacitors onto the boards  
• Snip all leads off and remove finished unit from fixture  
• Inspect board  

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkers  
• Ability to work independently and as a team member  
• Must pass and maintain IPC solder certification  
• Commitment to meeting production demands and quality requirements  
• Understand Customer requirements as they relate to their job function  
• Ability to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformances  
• Ability to get to work on time with minimal absences  

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
