Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate I to join our team and play an essential role in the efficient management of warehouse operations. This position involves overseeing the flow of products, including shipping, receiving, and inventory processes, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The successful individual will have opportunities to work with various types of powered lifting equipment, including cherry pickers and forklifts, contributing to overall process optimization and team collaboration.

Primary Duties

  • Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment by packaging, labeling, and staging products according to customer specifications and internal standards to ensure timely delivery.
  • Utilize powered lifting equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers safely and effectively to move and organize materials within the warehouse environment.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against delivery documentation, inspecting for damages, and updating the inventory management system promptly.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts, utilizing handheld scanners and other technology to maintain accurate stock records and support inventory reconciliation efforts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by properly storing materials and disposing of waste, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace for all team members.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse supervisors and colleagues to troubleshoot operational issues, implement process improvements, and meet production goals consistently.
  • Strictly follow all company safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to minimize hazards and promote a culture of safety throughout the facility.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with additional tasks as necessary, contributing to a dynamic and responsive warehouse team environment.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under fast-paced warehouse conditions.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to efficiently coordinate with team members, supervisors, and logistics partners.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems, including inventory management software and electronic scanning tools, to ensure real-time tracking and data accuracy.
  • Physical Capability: Able to safely handle physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials up to 50 pounds regularly while applying ergonomic best practices.
  • Working Environment: Comfortable working in a warehouse setting involving extended periods of standing, walking, and manual handling, with exposure to varying noise levels and ambient temperatures. Safety measures and hydration protocols are emphasized to support well-being.
  • Proven reliability and commitment to teamwork, fostering a cooperative and productive workplace culture.
  • Experience operating powered lifting equipment, such as forklifts, is highly advantageous and will be considered a strong asset.

Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma or an equivalent credential is required, demonstrating foundational knowledge and discipline.
  • While previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling roles is preferred, it is not mandatory; comprehensive onboarding and hands-on training will be provided to equip you with the skills needed for success.

The US base rate for this full-time position is 22.00. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
