Job Summary
The Junior National Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and operational execution of assigned national customer accounts, ensuring strong service levels, sales performance, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who fully owns the customer relationship, drives internal coordination, resolves issues promptly, and ensures flawless execution of commercial agreements. The Junior National Sales Manager is accountable for delivering assigned sales targets, implementing approved commercial actions, and maintaining a reliable and responsive customer experience.
Primary Duties
- Customer Ownership & Daily Account Management
Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers, managing daily communications, ensuring needs are addressed promptly, and maintaining a strong and professional relationship.

Operational Execution & Issue Resolution
Lead the execution of customer requirements including order management, service levels, delivery follow-up, product availability, pricing implementation, and problem resolution, ensuring smooth and timely operations.

Sales Performance & Program Execution
Implement approved commercial actions and customer programs to drive sales growth and margin performance within defined strategies and pricing frameworks.

Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, pricing, product, operations, finance) to ensure timely responses, accurate information, and effective solutions that support the customer.

Forecasting, Reporting & Data Accuracy
Maintain accurate forecasts, track performance, monitor KPIs, and provide clear updates to leadership to support operational planning and decision-making.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, account management, customer service, or commercial operations, preferably in automotive, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to manage daily customer interactions, resolve issues, and drive operational execution with urgency and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, reporting, and data interpretation to support commercial decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage professionally at multiple levels internally and with customers.
- Demonstrated capability to coordinate cross-functional teams and follow through on commitments with high accountability.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to Travel as required 15-20% of the time
Physical Requirement: Capability to lift up to 50lbs.
Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
- University Degree or equivalent; 3-5 years’ experience in Business Administration/Sales Management.
- Educated in financial analysis Capabilities or P&L responsibilities.
