Job Summary

Join our team as a Manufacturing Operator II and contribute to the efficient production of high-quality products within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This full-time role is integral to our daily operations, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and meet quality standards.

Primary Duties

  • Operate and monitor machinery and equipment following established procedures to maintain consistent production flow.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve process issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, output quantities, and any incidents or deviations.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new operators to foster a knowledgeable and capable workforce.
  • Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment to avoid production downtime.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality assurance, health, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with machinery operation.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate within a team and report issues clearly.
  • Capability to identify and troubleshoot operational problems efficiently.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle manufacturing equipment safely.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime when necessary.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Education / Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing operations or a related field is valuable. Training will be provided to support the development and mastery of role-specific skills.
