Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mfg. Operator II to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role is essential in ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing environment.

Primary Duties

  • Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery efficiently and safely, adhering to all company guidelines and safety regulations.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications, performing regular inspections and tests as required.
  • Assist in setting up machines and tooling for production runs, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain production flow.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including inputting data related to machine performance, product quality, and any deviations observed during shifts.
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement programs by providing feedback and suggestions to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Ensure workstations are clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and other housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety and environmental policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials.
  • Support training and development efforts for junior manufacturing operators as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable, particularly with mechanical or automated equipment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to identify issues early and suggest corrective actions.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate within diverse teams and across shifts.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-driven environment.

Education / Experience

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Previous manufacturing experience and familiarity with standard manufacturing equipment or processes will be considered an advantage. On-the-job training and certifications may be provided to support employee development and career progression.
