Job Summary

As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of equipment and facilities within our organization. This full-time position involves leading maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of performance and safety.

Primary Duties

  • Lead and coordinate daily maintenance operations across all assigned equipment and systems.
  • Perform skilled troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to extend the life of assets and reduce operational disruptions.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
  • Document and report maintenance activities, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and enhance overall facility efficiency.
  • Assist in budgeting and procurement for maintenance supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring and guiding maintenance teams to achieve high performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and diagnostic tools.
  • Commitment to safety best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and report to management.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic industrial environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Candidates MUST have experience in PLC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Industrial Equipment.

Education / Experience

A minimum of a technical diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, or mechanical technology is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least 5 years of progressive experience in maintenance roles, including leadership responsibilities, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

The US base rate for this full-time position is 36.5. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
