Job Summary

We are seeking a Manager, AI Delivery to lead the delivery of agentic AI solutions, automation initiatives, and small application development efforts, while providing direct and indirect people leadership across delivery teams. This role combines delivery ownership, technical fluency, and team leadership to ensure AI and automation work moves predictably from intake through execution into stable, supported solutions. The AI Delivery Manager partners with engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and external partners to plan work, manage execution, develop talent, and deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading technical teams, making pragmatic delivery decisions, and operating in environments where requirements evolve and AI solutions mature through iteration.

This is a hybrid role in our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) with the expectation to be onsite two to three days per week. Preference will be given to local talent.

Primary Duties

Delivery & Execution Management

  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of agentic AI, automation, and small application initiatives, from intake and planning through deployment and transition to support.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing scope, priorities, dependencies, resources, and delivery risks.
  • Establish and maintain delivery plans, milestones, and status reporting, adapting execution approaches as AI solutions evolve through discovery and iteration.

People Leadership & Team Enablement

  • Provide direct people management for assigned team members, including goal setting, coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
  • Provide indirect leadership across extended delivery teams and partner resources, ensuring alignment, accountability, and effective collaboration.
  • Support staffing, skill development, and capacity planning for AI and automation work, creating an environment where teams are supported and unblocked.

Technical & Agile Leadership

  • Partner with AI engineers, automation developers, and solution architects to translate business needs into well‑scoped, executable work.
  • Review solution approaches at a conceptual and architectural level, ensuring alignment with enterprise platforms, security standards, and delivery constraints.
  • Own backlog intake, prioritization, and refinement; facilitate sprint planning, stand‑ups, and reviews using agile practices pragmatically rather than dogmatically.
  • Track delivery health, risks, and outcomes, driving continuous improvement across teams.

Stakeholder & Operational Alignment

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders during delivery, setting expectations around scope, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Ensure delivered solutions are operationally viable, governed, and supported, coordinating transition into support and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in technology delivery, software development, automation, or engineering‑adjacent roles.
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams, including direct people management and indirect leadership.
  • Proven experience delivering AI, automation, or software solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices and agile execution.
  • Technical fluency in AI, automation, and application development concepts (hands‑on coding not required).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience delivering AI or agentic AI solutions in a Microsoft‑centric environment.
  • Prior background as a technical lead or senior engineer.
  • Experience working with external partners or system integrators.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum, cloud/AI platforms).

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
