Dayton Parts is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our growing team in Harrisburg, PA! In this role the Production Coordinator will report to the Plant Manager and is key source for administrative needs and coordination of tasks within our fast-paced manufacturing team. The Production Assistant provides strong administrative support directly to our team leads, supervisors, and managers to help keep operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate needs to have previous experience in a similar role with work allocation being 80% office, 20% shop floor.


Primary Duties:

  • Run Production Reports out of Macpac and Megamations (operating systems).
  • Enter, Update and Maintain Kanban system (inventory Management).
  • Order and keep stock levels for tooling, material, oils/Coolants/Shot, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory and levels for all PPE.
  • Review, maintain, update Operator/Maintenance PM’s.
  • Replace MIS tapes, and restock toolroom items.
  • Attend vendor meetings.
  • Other duties as required.


Education/ Experience requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years providing solid administrative support to employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Must be flexible in working overtime or other shifts due to operational needs.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently within set guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of production/manufacturing operations a plus.
  • Provide good verbal and written communications to all levels of management, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, work effectively in team/crew environment, adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of various tools.
