Dorman Solutions: Heavy Duty Channel Marketing Director

This is a dedicated position, concentrating on Heavy Duty channel marketing strategy deployment.  This position will work closely with the Heavy Duty product and sales teams driving awareness of the Dorman Heavy Duty product portfolio.

 

  • Works with Sales, Product, and Category managers to develop and execute the Heavy Duty Truck channel strategy.
  • Reporting/Marketing Analytics: Own all digital marketing analytics/reporting for the partnership, showing the effectiveness of our digital marketing initiatives
  • Creates channel marketing strategies and campaigns targeting repair and large fleet opportunities. 
  • Lead a channel Heavy Duty segmentation exercise to better define the Heavy Duty Truck customer and map out the purchase journey.
  • Develops and maintains marketing and training collateral that ties to a Heavy Duty Truck road map and delivers on channel goals and objectives
  • Designs and implements metrics to analyze and quantify ROI of marketing activities
  • Provides assistance/support as required to close on unplanned but high value opportunities and to monitor channel market conditions and competitive activity
  • Collaborates with sales, marketing and product management to develop new, innovative ideas to better serve channel partners and end users.

 

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • BS degree in Marketing or Management required
  • A minimum of 7 years working in the Heavy Duty space in a Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Segment Marketing, Field Sales or similar role
  • Proven experience in channel management focused roles with demonstrable evidence of driving continuous improvement via data analytics
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills. Must be able to influence and persuade senior executives, provide clear project guidance to stakeholders, and collaborate and lead cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue, new markets and sales acceleration with innovative channel marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to think and manage strategically with a strong tendency towards analytics and analysis
